Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of Domaine de la Citadelle, a wine estate, the Corkscrew Museum contains some 1,200 corkscrews, dating from the 17th century to the present day. A unique, private collection with exhibits from all over the world.

Did you know that an Englishman is credited with the invention of the corkscrew, and that the English bottled wine before the French did? Visit this unique collection and take a journey back through the ages, to a variety of different countries where you can admire an early hand-forged steel corkscrew, works of art in solid gold, as well as ivory and silver corkscrews. Round off your visit with a trip to the cellars at the wine estate where you can taste its award-winning wines and visit the botanical garden.
