The House of Candied Fruit (La Maison du Fruit Confit)

Basking under the Provençal sunshine, Luberon has been a choice region for the cultivation of fruit, particularly cherries, since Classical times.
This led numerous confectioners to settle in Apt, turning it into a renowned centre for candied fruit. Aptunion was set up to continue the tradition of making glacé fruit and vegetables.
The Maison du Fruit Confit refurbished and extended its shop in 2018 to provide 300 m² dedicated to selling candied fruit to the public, with a tasting table where you can sample the products.
Come and find out all about candied fruit! Go it alone or join a guided tour on Tuesday mornings. Guided tours are also available everyday during the summer holidays at 10:30 am.
Other activities are also available, including cookery workshops on Wednesdays and Saturdays by reservation.
