Along this trail you will travel through time, among Roman remnants, Medieval towns and villages perched high up in the mountains.
The alternative athletic route between Roaix and Rasteau will take you along a little mountain path from which you will have an unforgettable view of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the Mont Ventoux and the Rhône Valley.

Deaprting from Avignon, follow the signs to Orange, then to Vaison la Romaine.Or head to Carpentras, then Malaucène, and Vaison la Romaine.
To be noted
- The route is best suited to autumn and spring
- Avoid very hot periods (July and August) because there is little shade on the route.
- Dirt track between points 1 and 2
- Very steep road between Roaix and Rasteau.
