The not-to-be-missed back-to-school event!The European Heritage Days are a great opportunity to (re)discover heritage close to home, as many places open their doors to you!
Created in 1984 under the name "Journées Portes ouvertes des monuments historiques" by the French Ministry of Culture, their aim is to showcase the extraordinary richness of our heritage through original events, unusual tours and exceptional openings.
The 41st European Heritage Days take place on Saturday September 21 and Sunday September 22, 2024. The theme of this year's event is "Heritage of Routes, Networks and Connections", with the addition of the theme "Maritime Heritage".
