Christmas Traditions Day
Sunday 22 December 2024 between 10 am and 5 pm.
Event at Séguret :
Local market, arts and crafts in the village streets, panade and Ségur bread baked in the communal oven. Exhibition of nativity scenes, games for children... and a visit from Santa Claus!
Come and stroll through the narrow streets and enter the houses generously lent by Ségurétains and the permanent boutiques where you'll find craftsmen happy to show you their skills.
The church and chapel open their doors to present the setting for the 'Li Bergie de Séguret' mystery play (the living crib) and the santon exhibition.
Extend your stroll to the Place des Arceaux, where a local market awaits you, with local producers and a traditional oyster bar, where you can also enjoy a bite to eat.
On this occasion, the communal oven will be relit, where you can sample the famous panade or Ségur bread (garlic bread).
Santa Claus will pay us a visit, much to the delight of the children, who can also take advantage of the face-painting stand and wooden games provided by the Friends of Séguret.
From 3 pm to 4:30 pm, Christmas tales for young and old will be performed by the Trac company!
