"Il Cimento Dell'Armonia E Dell'Inventione" - by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker" - Festival Vaison Danses

Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker is one of the greatest choreographers of contemporary dance. She will be coming to Vaison Danses for the first time to open the 2025 edition of the international festival.

In this show, the two authors share their concern about the harmful evolution of our relationship with nature, and about the place and responsibility of art and artists in these critical times. The contemplation of the four seasons through the contemplation of nature as expressed in Vivaldi's music clearly brings to the surface the urgency of this crisis. What sense can we make of this creation around the four seasons at a time when they are suffering the consequences of climate change to such an extent that the very reality of four distinct seasons threatens to disappear?
